Australia vs Austria – 1:1

Îmi amintisem câtă distracţie a fost cu colectarea ingredientelor pentru postul ăsta mai vechi (a se citi obligatoriu) şi am zis, cam de ce să nu facem şi o reciprocă?

Deci. Ideea e aceeaşi. Un email la o duzină de hotele din Sydney, Australia, solicitând o rezervare pe două săptămâni şi întrebând cât de departe ar fi Australia de Elveţia cu maşina. Emailul standard trimis mai jos:

Hi,

I am planning to visit Sydney for a holiday with my girlfriend and would love to stay in your hotel. We are coming from the United States of America. We thought a better and more romantic place to spend the holiday would be quite hard to find – with all the history and the nature, castles and museums, and of corse, the beautiful Alps. We are also thinkging to drive around neighboring countries – how far would it be to Switzerland for example? Couple hours drive? I suppose renting a car should be no problem.

We are landing in Sidney on August 15^th and would like to book the hotel for two weeks. What rate would you apply for a double room with breakfast?

Spre deosebire de austrieci, australienii sunt puţin mai straightforward. Răspunsuri pe alocuri stupefiate, cu luare peste picior în alte cazuri. Sunt sigur că şi lucrătorii unui sau altui hotel s-au distrat şi ei pe cinste de la emailul meu. Câteva răspunsuri vedeţi mai jos:
